NEDOC Opening Hours at Easter

NEDOC will be open from 1pm on Friday 29th March until 8am Tuesday 2nd April 2024. 

Please be aware that GP Surgeries are open on Friday 29th March as normal until 1pm. GP Surgeries will re-open on Tuesday 2nd April at their normal time.

NEDOC will be busy during this time and patients will face delays getting through to the service, or waiting for an appointment and we ask for your patience at this time.

  • People are advised to check their first aid boxes are well stocked to treat minor ailments at home without having to contact NEDOC; (paracetamol, ibuprofen, calpol nurofen, diarolyte and a thermometer)
  • In terms of advanced care planning, if you are caring for someone that is terminally ill, please have medicines that are recommended by your Palliative Care team or GP for situations that could arise.

Patients should not to walk into a centre without an appointment, as they will be told to ring 1800 777 911 so their call can be triaged by a nurse, and if appropriate a GP consultation will be arranged at the next available time slot.

Patients who receive an appointment should remember to bring their GMS or GP Visit card to the centre. Patients who do not have a valid medical card or GP Visit Card at the time of consultation are subject to a fee.
